Russian scientists are planning to create the latest medication against infertility. The project is subsidized by the venture capital fund.
At the heart of the development is a research of scientists of the Institute of Molecular Genetics, Russian Academy of Sciences. The medication is supposed to be synthesized on the basis of the signal peptide, which is a modulator of violations of limbic-reticular complex. Peptides have a specific effect on the central nervous system, as their ingredients are similar to compounds that are produced in a human body. It makes them the safest possible.
The first phase of work will focus on developing the female reproductive function’s stimulator. In addition, the scientists are planning to lead a more profound study of therapeutic possibilities of the peptide. Perhaps it will extend the list of indications for the drug’s usage.
The researchers emphasize that all the pre-clinical and clinical trials of a new drug will be held in Russia. The amount of investment hasn't been announced yet.
